An oil depot in the Rhône-Alpes region wanted to install a security fence around its sensitive site. The site extends over 1800m. They needed to find a resistant system.

La Gard’Active : What convinced the customer to entrust us with the deployment of this security fence on their site?

1 – A trusted security system

Le système de clôture de détection Gard’Active offre les fonctionnalités suivantes :

  • A mesh of sensing and/or electrified tensioned wires.
  • One to six detection zones configured according to site organisation.
  • Gard’Active integration on fencing and gates.

2 – Advanced technology

Gard’Active technology is based on 3 criteria: deterrence/detection/delay.

  • By posting “electric fence” signs all around the site.
  • By alarm feedback in the event of a system failure or short-circuit.
  • By making it difficult for any offender to defraud the system.

3 – A fence for security and peace of mind

The Gard’Active security fence is a simple and effective system. It is easy to use, maintain and repair.

Thanks to all these advantages, our customer has entrusted us with the deployment of this solution across all its sites.

4 – Quick description

This security fence has several rows of horizontal cables running parallel to the existing passive fence. In this way, it can fulfil its function of detecting and/or repelling intruders.

It can be installed on a passive security fence as well as on a gate or wicket door. As a result, it can hermetically encircle a sensitive site.

There are 5 versions of Gard’Active: DPM10 (mechanical detection), DP10-AB (anti-ram detection), DP10 (low-voltage detection), DP24 (multi-zone high-voltage detection) and D25 (high-voltage detector).
