At the Airbus aircraft manufacturing site in Toulouse, a remote area required the perimeter protection of its conventional system (shock cable) to be reinforced with a dissuasive solution that was highly time-delaying and particularly reliable in terms of accidental triggering for optimum security.
What is the Gard’Active fence?
Gard’Active fencing secures the outside perimeter by detecting attempted break-ins and intrusions. There are 5 versions. For this project, we installed the DP10 (low voltage) solution.

2 – Airbus Toulouse: A much-needed perimeter protection system
- The installation of the BOLLORE PROTECTION concertina detector added deterrence to the performance of the security solution.
- The low-voltage DP10 detection module monitors the signal through the concertina detector fixed to the existing fence. The industrial site can now rely on the robustness of the fence to prevent intrusions.
- Thanks to the simplicity of the system, the fence provides reliable detection and guarantees continuity of service despite conditions made difficult by invasive and unkempt vegetation.
