The military base in south-east France needed to secure the area around its premises. It needed a system that was equal to the dangers it might encounter in the future. So we agreed to install CARAPACE joinery, a range of our bullet-proof joinery. Its components come in several configurations: fixed/opening, glazed/opaque, doors/windows.
Why choose CARAPACE joinery?
Let’s explore the different features of CARAPACE joinery and the services we offer.
1 – A wide range of industrial joinery products
Every project is made to measure: the frames (whether simple or composite), the doors (whether solid, glazed or semi-glazed) and the security locks. All are designed according to the level of security required.
2 – An à la carte level of protection
Each site can decide on the level it needs according to the risk it considers :
- Level FB4/ BR4 for handguns.
- Level FB5/BR5, FB6/BR6, FB7/BR7 for heavy weapons.
3 – Simple, discreet integration of CARAPACE joinery
Each bullet-proof unit is made from aluminium or steel profiles and incorporates ballistic plates on the inside, the level of which is decided for each site. The external appearance remains as simple and contemporary as classic joinery.
4 – Variable finishes
Depending on the project, but also for safety reasons, some glazing may need to be partially obscured:
- Finition Opale
- sandblasting
- Antelio silver finish
As a result, we can offer you a finish that is likely to meet your needs.
